Mark 8:34-9:13
The cross reveals our expectations. How do you respond to the harsh reality of self-sacrifice? Jesus said: “If anyone wishes to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.” When you hear those words, don’t you too want to run after your own ambitions? Isn’t it interesting that deep down we all know the crucial issue in our turning to God is the need to surrender our will.
Will you make it your passion to live for Christ now, knowing you will live with Christ later?
