Dr. Wayne Stiles, with biblical and practical teaching, will walk you through the life and letters of the apostle Peter—whose story moves from bold faith to bitter tears, and finally to a fresh calling from Jesus Himself. You’ll see how Peter’s journey offers real hope for starting over with God, no matter where you’ve been.

About
DR. WAYNE STILES - Host and Teacher
Wayne Stiles is the host of Walking the Bible Lands, an online video experience that gives virtual tours of the Holy Land. A veteran traveler and tour guide of biblical sites, Wayne has taught and written extensively on the devotional benefits of the Bible Lands in his videos, on his popular blog, in his books, as well as in dozens of articles for the Jerusalem Post. Wayne earned his bachelor’s degree in music theory and classical guitar—and his master’s and doctoral degrees from Dallas Theological Seminary. He also served in the pastorate for 14 years and in leadership at Insight for Living Ministries for 12 years.
Wayne and his wife, Cathy, have helped lead tours to numerous biblical sites, including Israel, Jordan, Greece, Turkey, and Italy. They have been married thirty-five years and have two grown daughters, Sarah and Katie, a son-in-law, Luke, and two grandsons, Caleb and Jonah. Wayne’s passion is to help connect the Bible and its lands to life. But in his free time he enjoys traveling with Cathy, woodworking, and playing guitar.

FERNANDO ORTEGA • Guest Artist
Fernando Ortega is a singer, pianist, songwriter, arranger, and storyteller. Trained as a classical pianist and inspired by the Presbyterian hymns of his childhood, Ortega has been influential in expanding the range of Christian music. He has devoted considerable attention to creating arrangements of early church music and hymns, infusing them with instrumental and vocal character drawn from classical, folk, and world music. His songs and writing often conjure the expansive landscape of the Southwestern United States.
Ortega makes his home in New Mexico, where his ancestors first settled in the early 1600s. Over a rich and varied musical career, he has released 22 records and a book of his bird photography and tales, has traveled around the world as a touring artist, and has received many accolades and awards for his music. He is happiest at home, however, raising his spectacular daughter Ruby, working in the garden, and photographing birds.

Glen Eyrie Conference Center
Founded in 1871 as the home of William Jackson Palmer, Glen Eyrie was purchased by The Navigators in 1953. Today, it serves as their headquarters, embodying the mission "To know Christ and make Him known, and help others do the same." The hospitality ministry at Glen Eyrie invites guests to historic Castle tours, teas, overnight stays, personal retreats, conferences, and more.
Visitors can enjoy a coffee and browse books and gifts in the Glen Eyrie Bookstore, located in the historic Carriage House, or have afternoon tea served in the Castle Music Room. Guests can stay overnight in the Castle or one of the other six lodges on the property. With abundant wildlife, spectacular views, and memorable experiences, Glen Eyrie is the perfect place for spiritual renewal.

Registration opens on September 1, 2025, at 10 AM Central. Space is limited, so be sure to register early. A link to the registration page will be provided on the conference website.

Each registration covers all lodging, all meals, all conference fees, a castle tour, and conference materials.
Guests can stay overnight in the Castle or in one of the other six lodges on the property. Space is available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Yes, you can attend the conference even if you are not staying overnight at Glen Eyrie. Please register online and select the Conference Only option. There is a fee of $1050 per person to cover the conference and food costs.
Yes, meals will be provided for conference attendees. A separate email will be sent for attendees list any dietary concerns.
We recommend bringing a Bible, a notebook, and comfortable clothing suitable for both indoor sessions and outdoor activities. If you plan to explore the grounds, or the nearby Garden of the Gods, comfortable walking shoes are advisable.
Yes, families are welcome to attend the conference. Please note that each individual, including children, must be registered to attend.
